Deputy Manager (Sales & Marketing) at International Business Group in Yangon, Myanmar
Responsible for developing and managing commercial functions of the infrastructure business unit under the group.

The Role
The ideal background for the role will be strong hands-on experience in managing the commercial function of diverse businesses, ideally experience managing steel, construction, oil & gas, and ODA infrastructure projects in current or previous experience. Has experience in engaging with ministries and experience working in complex working environments and multiple stakeholders

Description
Researching, gathering market information on various industrial sectors such as steel, construction, oil & gas, ODA infrastructure
Understanding market trends, and consumer requirements and assist Dept. Head on developing marketing opportunities and plan to achieve Company targets and goals
Cooperating with headquarters in Singapore and, when necessary, in Japan to exchange business information, discuss new opportunities, promote existing services/projects, and introduce new to the market
Collaborating with group companies to provide operational support by, but not limited to, communicating with relevant group company members frequently & deeply and hearing their needs and providing good solutions and marketing opportunities
Communicating with relevant government offices, when necessary, for the bidding process, collecting business project-related information, etc
Coordinating weekly regular Dept. meetings and updating business activities
Performing and completing other tasks and assignments as needed for the Office
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (degree in marketing, business administration or relevant field is preferable)
High proficiency in English (both writing and speaking)
Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Minimum 5 years experience in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development fields with a basic understanding of trading and investment procedures
Experience in management and understanding of business planning, project management, tax, corporate fiancé, and corporate legal field would be advantageous
Good at using MS Office applications, Online systems, email, etc.
Good in document handling, recording, and reporting
Good organization and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
